MAIMO was born of the meeting of two project cultures: that of architecture and that of the client. Founded by a licensed architect (HMONP) and engineer, the practice draws on fourteen years of experience shared between architectural design and real-estate development.

This background makes it possible to understand the designer’s intention as much as the client’s imperatives, and to approach each operation as a whole: architecture, engineering, economics, schedule and uses.

For land developers, operators and local authorities, this concretely changes the way of working. Fourteen years spent designing, coordinating, deciding and delivering complex operations - heavy refurbishments, residential and hotel schemes, office restructurings, urban projects - give MAIMO an immediate reading of a site’s stakes, an operation’s risks and the levers of its success. A single point of contact, able to speak the language of the architect, the engineer, the cost consultant and the investor, to secure decisions from the first intuitions and hold the project’s ambition through to its reality.
